The Carnival of Madness is coming back to the US this summer with Shinedown, Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry, and Whiskey Myers! The Carnival of Madness festival started with Shinedown and the band is back to headline the 2016 edition. The lineup and dates for this year’s run have just been revealed, with the band being joined by labelmates Halestorm, as well as Black Stone Cherry, Whiskey Myers and more. The 2016 Carnival of Madness starts in Southhaven, Miss., on July 20, then travels through the Midwest and Southeast, hitting the East Coast before finishing in Detroit on Aug. 18. Pre-sales for the run begin tomorrow (March 15) at 12 noon local time in most markets. All remaining tickets will be available in most markets beginning on March 18 at 10AM local time.
Fans will also have the option of purchasing a special collector’s edition 3D ticket commemorating the event when they buy their tickets for the tour. For complete details, check Shinedown’s website of the Carnival of Madness tour site.
Shinedown frontman Brent Smith says, “I’ve always envisioned the Carnival of Madness as more than just a music festival. It is a celebration of rock music where the lines between those on stage and those in the audience are blurred. Where everyone is sharing in this amazing moment. Truly experiencing the power of rock music together. This year, we’ve gathered artists from across the rock spectrum to bring the most dynamic Carnival of Madness to date. Come join us.”
