Tonight Alive - Limitless (Album Review)

Australian Rockers Tonight Alive have released a power driven pop-rock record titled Limitless via Fearless Records. Limitless is a very empowering, motivating album with a forceful and positive message filled with loving yourself and overcoming emotions. Jenna McDougall's lyrical emphasis on self empowerment is admirable and very heartfelt. Limitless is a massive album for Tonight Alive and is guaranteed to be a favorite in everyones playlist. This album is definitely going to launch Tonight Alive into a radio played band with the Anthem ready songs on this album. The album title speaks for itself and shows Tonight Alive is limitless redefining the boundaries of their sound and showing their self-empowerment and motivating lyrics. The fierce lyrics mixed with their new pop and electro beats. This emotionally charged album like all of Tonight Alive’s albums really stands out as Jenna’s vocals are flawlessly showing with the slower tracks on the album like “Oxygen,” “Waves,” & “The Greatest.” The Songwriting on this album is next level better then any other Tonight Alive album. Tonight Alive has always sounded like a huge arena band but this album is promised to take this band to the next level and launch them into more success. The anthem songs like “To Be Free,” “Drive,” & “How Does It Feel?” are the songs to have Tonight Alive’s music heard as these are the songs that I can see filling the radio stations and becoming the soundtrack to all of Tonight Alive’s fans spring and summer. This album proves that Tonight Alive is limitless and has changed their sound and improved their musicianship and their talents have greatly surpassed their previous album The Other Side.

4.5/5 - Overall the album is very upbeat, positive, moody, fun, and lyrically pleasing. This album has defied the odds of the transformation some bands cannot do but Tonight Alive have and its for the better! Looking forward to seeing Tonight Alive on the Fight For Something Tour on March 9th in Philadelphia.
