Taylor Swift Donates $250,000 to Kesha in "Show of Support" After Judge Rules She Must Con

Taylor Swift Donates to KESHA

26-year-old Sensational Pop Star, Taylor Swift; has given a quarter-million dollars ($250,000) to singer Kesha to help with the star's legal case as she fights to get out of a recording contract with famed producer Dr. Luke, whom she accuses of sexually assaulting her. "In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time," a rep confirms to MUSIC MAYHEM. Kesha sobbed at a New York Supreme Court hearing on Friday when a judge denied her request for release from a recording contract with Sony and Dr. Luke – ordering that she must record six more albums with Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. Dr. Luke has vehemently denied the allegations through his lawyer, Christine Lepera, who has told PEOPLE MAGAZINE: "Kesha and her mother are engaged in a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements about Dr. Luke to third parties, including scurrilous and false statements of purported physical and mental abuse of Kesha." The "Tik Tok" singer, 28, began publicly fighting for release from the contract after filing a lawsuit against Dr. Luke in October 2014, alleging that he sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused her. The producer unsuccessfully counter-sued for defamation, claiming Kesha and her mother were trying to extort him.
