Simple Plan - BOOM (Song Review)
One of the scenes favorite Canadian pop-punk bands are back with a new smash hit called ‘BOOM!’ Simple Plan premiered the song live at this year’s annual Alt Press Music Awards, while also filming parts of the music video at both the APMA’s and Cleveland Warped Tour. It’s no question that Pierre’ Bouvier has every intention of letting his fans know that someone has snagged his ‘crazy little heart’ and keeps it beating. The quintet have not just created catchy riffs and a song to dance to, they want everyone to know that even in a “world full of heartache, seems like everyone is burning out, but their love isn’t running out” any time soon. SP have had their share of emotional driven hits about ‘Life being a nightmare,’ and that they’re ‘Not perfect.’ However, in 2015 they’re shining light into the darkness of every fan whether they’re 14 or 40. Fans can only wait with baited breath for what Simple Plan has to bring after their BOOM! This catchy jam definitely deserves 4 out of 5 stars.
