A Skylit Drive Rise To The Top in Danbury, Connecticut

Last week, A Skylit Drive made a stop in Danbury, Connecticut’s intimate venue, The Heirloom Arts Theatre, and put on a spectacular show. This is the band’s first tour with new members, drummer Brandon Ritcher (formerly of Motionless in White) and rhythm guitarist Mike Labelle. “It’s been great, really. I’ve been listening to these guys since high school so joining a band that I’ve always looked up to it’s been really great,” said Labelle. “Every show that we’ve played so far is really good.”

A SkyLit Drive

One of the many words to describe A Skylit Drive’s performance is energetic. This five-pieced band – including frontman Mike Jagmin, lead guitarist Nick Miller, Mike Labelle, Brandon Ritcher, and bassist Kyle Simmons – puts on an unforgettable show and brings the crowd to life with their music and overall presence. As soon as ASD hit the stage, the fans are soon brought together to enjoy the band that helped them through their toughest times and all of their woes are forgotten. “Just playing every night, I’ve always wanted to play in front of people every night since I was thirteen when I picked up my first guitar, and being able to do it, playing in front of people every night, meeting different people every night and hanging out with people who are now my best friends, who I didn’t even know who they were in December,” explained Labelle about the tour life. “Just the tour itself is awesome. Everyone is so passionate about the music, about what we’re doing so there’s no negative energy in the RV; we all get along really well.”
