The Hatchet Has Been Buried between Falling in Reverse & Escape The Fate!
THE HATCHET HAS BEEN BURIED! After years of resentment, Escape The Fate & Falling In Reverse put their differences behind them & brought their very memorable history making Bury The Hatchet Tour to The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA on February 2nd 2014 for their first joint tour with a sold-out show featuring opening bands the Utah Death core act Chelsea Grin and Las Vegas’ post hardcore rockers Survive This!
imageThe night started off at about 7pm with opening band Las Vegas’ post hardcore rockers Survive This! I personally have never started listening or heard of Survive This until the tour was announced then I found their music online & added it directly to my playlist as their music was fantastic & even better when I seen it live. Wow Survive This started the night off on a very high upbeat note & definitely got the crowd off their feet with their very colorful headbanging performance! Survive this is definitely a band you should check out & add to your playlist.
imageThe Utah Death core metal act Chelsea Grin was up next to hit the stage with their flashing strobe lit red set with their 30 minute performance they absolutely got the crowds moving & getting their “horns” warmed up for the headliners!
imageEscape The Fate took stage with a very energetic crowd looking forward to their hour-long set. They played many of fan favorites including “Gorgeous Nightmare”, “You’re Insane” & ending their set with “This War is Ours (The Guillotine II)” Perhaps, the highlight of the set was the emotionally touching “Picture Perfect” where the crowd light up the stage with their cell phones & lighters for a very awesome set! (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10200675824212941&l=4180317279352301194) or the end of their set with the Wall of Death to “This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II)”. Escape The Fate got the venue moving with all the moshing & jumping around during their set the crowd is now ready for Falling In Reverse!
imageFalling In Reverse got the crowd roaring with their set with some of their fans favorites like “Sink or swim” & “I’m Not A Vampire” the band came out on stage after show the crowd a very comical intro. The Full House TV show theme song but featuring all the members of Falling In Reverse doing different things & Ronnie Radke (Vocalist) coming to their rescue. Although their has been alot of rumors circulating the internet that no one likes FIR, they’re clearly wrong as witnessed & attended the SOLD OUT show in Philadelphia where 2500+ filled the Electric Factory.
imageAs their set was coming to an end the moment that everyone has been waiting years for, Ronnie Radke with Robert Ortiz & Max Green & Craig Mabbitt of ETF to sing 2 final songs to end the night making history in this music scene seeing the two vocalists on stage singing together. This once in a lifetime tour has finally had to come to an end after ending the show with “Situations” where was crowd sang their lungs out! This show was super awesome & I would definitely recommend you buying a ticket if this tour is having a stop near you! (http://escapethefate.com/)
