Tim McGraw isn’t mad at country music. He says the title for his new Damn Country Music album speaks more to his passion for what he does for a living. It symbolizes making a decision to pursue something knowing there could be a heavy price to be paid later. We’ll need to hear more than just one or two songs to understand what he’s talking about, and we will … soon. McGraw’s 14th studio album (and his third on Big Machine) drops on Nov. 6. A deluxe edition will feature three bonus tracks. The standard edition features two huge collaborations. Wife Faith Hill is sitting out, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find family on Damn Country Music. Byron Gallimore returns for his 14th project with McGraw. He’s been at the helm of every one of the singer’s albums, working side by side with him since Everywhere from 1997. McGraw will also co-produce Damn Country Music.

Here’s everything you need to know about the album, including songs, producers and inspiration. You can also take a sneak peak at one of those collaborations. It was a moment that left everyone in Nashville talking last summer.
